BIOGRAPHY

Josiah “JoJo” Everett is an experienced Class of 2027 quarterback at West Catholic Prep in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who has developed a reputation as a cerebral and composed signal caller. Everett combines a compact throwing motion, polished footwork, strong mechanics, and the arm talent to attack multiple areas of the field. His ability to process defenses, distribute the football, and remain poised in the pocket has become a defining part of his game.

Everett began establishing himself early in his high school career, throwing 19 touchdowns as a freshman while earning Third-Team All-District honors and Freshman of the Year recognition. After transferring from Delaware to West Catholic, he continued building his résumé, developing into a productive varsity starter and taking on greater responsibility within the Burrs’ offense.

His progression has continued through the 2026 season, where Everett has demonstrated the ability to generate significant production through the air while showing continued improvement in his processing, accuracy, timing, mechanics, and command of the offense. His experience as a multi-year varsity quarterback has helped him develop the confidence and leadership needed to manage games while still possessing the ability to create explosive passing performances.

Everett’s combination of football IQ, accuracy, pocket presence, arm talent, experience, competitiveness, and leadership makes him an intriguing college quarterback prospect. With his senior year still ahead of him, Everett remains focused on continuing his development, leading West Catholic, and earning the opportunity to play quarterback at the collegiate level.

URA EVALUATION

Josiah “JoJo” Everett is a productive, experienced Class of 2027 quarterback whose command of the position is becoming increasingly difficult to overlook. Everett’s game is built around processing, accuracy, composure and distribution rather than relying exclusively on elite physical traits. He shows the ability to identify coverage, work through concepts and deliver the football with timing while maintaining control of the offense from the pocket.

The 371-yard, three-touchdown performance this season reinforces an important part of his evaluation: Everett has demonstrated that he can carry significant passing volume and generate explosive production when the offense is placed in his hands.

His mechanics and footwork have continued to progress, and independent scouting observations have also identified improvement in his ability to read, process and release the football efficiently.

Everett’s biggest recruiting question remains physical projection. At approximately 5’11”, 160 pounds, he doesn’t possess the prototypical frame that automatically attracts FBS quarterback attention. That makes his film, processing speed, accuracy, production and verified athletic testing particularly important. But size should not erase production.

A quarterback who threw for roughly 2,300 yards and 23–24 touchdowns in 2025, owns a 403-yard school record, and has already produced a 371-yard game in 2026 has established a meaningful varsity résumé.
