Solaita began his athletic career in middle school in Tennessee, where he played basketball for his middle school team as early as fifth grade. His early involvement in basketball helped develop his coordination, athleticism, and competitive foundation that later translated to his success on the football field.
In his junior year, Solaita has established himself as a key contributor on the defense, continuing to anchor the line with consistent production throughout the regular season. He has recorded four sacks, 37 total tackles with 15 solo stops, and eight tackles for loss, highlighting his impact both against the run and as a pass rusher. His performance earned him Second Team All-District honors, and he enters the postseason motivated to further prove himself and elevate his play during the playoffs.
Heading into his senior year, Solaita projects as a centerpiece of the defense and a potential team captain, expected to take on an even larger leadership role up front. With another year of physical development and experience, he is projected to see an increase in overall production, including higher sack and tackle-for-loss numbers as offenses key on him less consistently and he refines his technique. Entering his final year, he projects as an all-district caliber defender with all-region potential, and a player positioned to draw increased college attention, especially if he continues to contribute as a versatile defensive lineman and special teams asset during a strong playoff run.
